One point perspective drawing
A one point perspective drawing is type of drawing where all the lines meet at a single point in the horizon which creates the illusion of depth and space.
I decided to do a one point perspective drawing because I wanted to learn how to draw a basic room for interior designing and learn the basics but I also wanted to combine the skill of graphically designing a drawing.
First drawing attempt:
My first attempt was not too good, the lines were not straight and it all looked wonky and not too much like one point perspective , specifically the door, window and floor tiles ,I shaded it to try make it look better but it still wasn't great I did however like the table.
Second drawing attempt:
My second attempt was an improvement with straighter floorboards and more angled lines, I was happy with how the lines are more visible and less faded. This base was going to be a lot better to use because it wasn't as confusing to look at and I did a lot less shading.
Pen tool x pencil
I uploaded the art to my computer and used the pen tool to refine it digitally, combining my graphic design skills with interior design concepts to create a clean, precise representation of space and depth.
It isn't perfect because I haven't used the pen tool in some time and only took 10 minutes to over it but I enjoyed the concept of drawing to then digitally designing .
